false court hearings for the immigrants

On Thursday many immigrants all over the country woke up at the crack of dawn and earlier to travel many hours for court hearings that weren't supposed to happen that day or weren't supposed to happen at all. a statement from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E) that they blame the part of this problem on the shutdown as they couldn't keep track with administrative things. They are trying to fix this situation by utilizing all available manpower to solve the issues. part of the mishap and confusion was due in part from the supreme court case Pereira vs. Sessions that made it mandatory for court notices to be sent to immigrants before their court date specifying time, date, and location.
